I just got my hv20 and something weird happens when I'm using auto focus and trying to focus on a closeup. I cant capture footage atm so I have to explain it in words, please stick with me. The issue has happened in different situations but this is a specific one I know I can repeat:
Camera in 60i, cine mode, exp locked, autofocus, about 4 feet off the ground full wide. I zoom very, very, slowly down towards the ground into my cat's food bowl, when the bowl is about in the entire frame the focus studders and goes blurry, then jumps back to focus and is jiggling in and out, fast-like. If I zoom out a little to where the image was in focus before, the weird jittery focus thing is still happening, to get the focus to stop jumping around I need zoom out to about full wide and then the camera focuses again.
Any thoughts? thanks
