Wireless Lav issues

I have been using a wireless lav well, actually trying to use one. I have a decent lectrosonic package that usually works great. I actually just used it a couple of days ago with the jvc GYHD and it worked fine. Now I just got an HVX and it works horribly. It just gets really low levels I have to manually pump the levels up in camera but then it just sounds really bad, all staticy and stuff. Any clues? ideas of settings?

Check your line/mic settings on the front of the camera beside the lens and next to the XLR connections. Make sure you have the proper settings (input 1/input 2) on the side of the camera behind the LCD.

Interesting, I also have a Samson that lately has been doing the same thing. I checked the line settings, but they seemed correct.
