I ordered a DVX over cameraunlimited and so far, it doesnt seem to be coming any time soon. (I think I'm being discriminated, but its okay... theyre the one losing the 3000 bucks)

So plz, my forum brothers and sisters, have anyone in NYC know where I can get a good deal in the city? I like to have mine same day, no deliveries.

B&H is an excellent dealer, and at $3499, that's still $500 off retail.

Willoughby's is a little bit of a drive, they're in New Jersey I think, but they're a little less, at $3298. Just don't buy any accessories or warranties from 'em.

Anybody offering it for much under $3300 is almost certainly a scam.

Yes -- I'm crazy -- they're not in NJ, they're in Manhattan. That should be the same place as at http://www.willoughbys.com, and that means that they're an authorized reseller, and a price of $3500 after tax sounds downright competitive, since B&H charges $3499 *before* tax...
