Hi, we finished shooting, dvx+sgpro+lomo primes. Now we need to edit on Avid composer.
What is the best way to flip flop all the rushes ?
Ariel.
Highlight all footage in the timeline and drag preset flip-flop on it. I do this in Edius.

What about the viewer screen, only the time line is not enough.

In FCP we use a Flop filter, this allows you to reverse the image 180° back to its correct orientation. I think Avid has something like this that you can use.

The problem is that I want to flip flop all the rushes not only the timeline. Just timeline correct view is not enough. What about bins and all the other material that is not on the timeline...

Not sure if this would work...might not support the format you are working in:

final cut has the advantage in editing 35mm adapter footage as you can have it rotated in the bin window and the timeline. I use avid, and it's a pain dealing with upside down footage...
It's the main reason I'm looking towards a flip solution or a mac and FCP!

Can you drop everything onto the timeline, flip/flop it, and then add all those clips back to the bin (however that is done in Avid) and to another pre-named folder in the bin, so as to keep them separate from your non flipped originals... Now you will have all your clips in your bin pre-flip/flopped...

You could always turn your computer upside down.
Okay, sorry, too much coffee. :)
