Heyall...

So I was able to borrow a Brevis for a night that was set up to use on an HVX the next day. So without the step down ring I had to screw it on my DVX. You can easily see the vignette - which would be removed by proper adjusting with an allen wrench. But I didnt want to screw up the guys settings for the next day. Also on this shot i forgot to turn on the vibrator. So you can see the grain everyone talks about. Brevis V2, Nikon 55mm I believe. I had a hard time keeping her in focus... just a few inches of movement and she was soft for all you DOF freaks. An Arri 300 bounced into a white card for the key. My daughter of 9 months.

For what it's worth...

Forgive me... but I am not seeing the benefit of looking at a grab from an adapter that was not properly set up and was not turned on... Maybe I'm missing the intention of your post though. Forgive me if I am... Your daughter is cute though :)

Later,
Jason

my apologies.

but maybe someone is wondering what 'set up' is and why you need to do it.
or.. maybe someone wants to see what the grain issue is all about
or.. maybe it helps someone understand that it is a screen image you need to adjust to fill the frame...
or.. maybe someone would like to see what a 55mm nikon would look like instead of an extremely narrow lens.

like I said "for what it's worth..." ;)

and thanks for the daughter comp!

Oh, now it's there... :)

Looks really grainy in the bokeh...did you have the motor turned on?
