I am working on a video shoot that has two cameras of different brands. XL2 and HVX200.

We are trying to shoot both 16:9 and 24P.

The XL2 shoots 23.98 and the HVX 24.
The XL2 and HVX seem to have slightly different sized widescreen screens, when we load both captured images into our Final Cut. I think XL2 shoots 525i and the HVX shoots 480i.

With all of this as a starting point, can we, and how can we use both cameras to cover this event in a way that can be edited together smoothly on a Final Cut Pro.

Any advice would be amazing. We are shooting at the end of the week.
Thanks.

Is the XL-2 a PAL model? Both US NTSC versions of those cameras shoot 24p at 23.98 and have the same frame sizes. (480i, 720x480)
