Has anyone mounted the LE to Zacuto Rods and successfully used it with a mattebox and grads? I just ordered an LE and now have some concerns about it working with my Zacuto since the LE has such an extreme vertical offset. The Indie Rods don't have horizontal offset which makes it moot for an HVX. If the LE rides too low, does anyone know of a riser solution: metal box/cage that would go into the camera and into the baseplate raising everything an inch or so. This would solve the problem (if there is one).

Like to hear from new owners out there. It would really suck if Zacuto couldn't work with LE as they seem to be the "head of the class" so to speak.

Nobody knows yet. The adapter is still too new and not a lot of people have Zacuto plates to begin with.

You'll have to pioneer your setup, find some way to make it work.

Maybe buy a shim kit from Redrock. Those already have tapped holes and are black.

maybe just an aluminum block man. like tap threads in it to raise up the HVX+LEx

Have you tried something like redrockmicro's microlens support. I'm sure someone will eventually come out with a better Letus based solution. However, I also heard talk on Zacuto's forums about a lens support. I'm sure it'd be adaptable to your adapter. (That just sounds weird). Personally, I would mount a fishing rod in back of my camera and have it support my DOFA.
