An outside lens [Nikon] focuses on the adapters GG to create the picture for your camera- like your camera's watching TV. All GG's have imperfections which your camera can also see [Grain]. The static adapter sees the "grain" the easiest. Moving GG's blur the "grain" so its harder for your camera to see.

Static adapters are generally cheaper and harder to work around the grain
vs.
Moving adapters generally cost more and are better grain friendly

but there are other factors: build quality, color rendering, vignetting, light loss, weight, ease of use, too many factors to pin-point "better", which is a subjective quality to start with.

A vibrating, or moving GG is always a better solution, however all the elements Bwest brought up are very important in choosing an adapter.

Movietubes arent that good. Their form factor is cool, but they have the same static grain issues the go35 and G35 have.

But no problem with shutter speed or frame-rate. Everything is a trade off.
