On a 202EN model when I flip to MCR/VCR Mode (preview clips / format P2's etc) there is a noticable continuous flicker/jitter in both the LCD and Viewfinder Screens at the main menu/thumbnail selection page (and only this page). It is like when you have an incorrect refresh setting or the screen cannot handle the resolution being sent to it resulting in horizontal jitter on straight lines (ie edges). Is this normal or should the LCD & Viewfinder in this mode be rock steady ?
No problem in record mode or when I am playing a clip it is rock steady. Problem is only at the Main menu prompt/clip preview selection page.
This says to me that the screen resolution when in the Linux main screen is somehow set to too high a value for the LCD & Viewfinder LCD to handle. Must be a software / firmware issue. I can live with it but it is annoying ? I checked on the demo model in the store and it does exactly the same thing.
Is this issue peculier to the 202 or does it occur in 200 as well ?
