i will go to Hong Kong in a few weeks and wanna buy my dvx100ae from there with some equipment. Does anybody know some online store there or can anybody give some information about good shops and prices?

Be Careful of system.
Hong Kong runs on PAL and the charger will be 220v . make sure that is what you are after.

no actually i am exactly looking for pal cameras and 220v, but thanks for warnings. but still i don't have any solution for the shopping places. ???

i just get an answer from Hong Kong they said they have got the AG-DVC180 which is replacing AG-DVX100A in HK market. Does anybody has got any information about it? is it the same thing to ag-dvx100a or AG-DVC180?

You have to be so careful. I am looking at same camera (PAL) as well. And I may be going to HK soon (and have been there before). They hav NO online shops in HK; you have to walk round and see them. There are I think a couple of reputable places but most are grey market dealers. I wasn't aware of those model numbers - as I know one asain version of the DVX100AE is the DVX100AEN, so who knows. Get out there and physically look at the camera. Also even if not a grey market import the warranty will only be valid in HK, so perhaps not worth it?
