Is there anyone using Red's basic production package as shouldermount with an adapter? The bad thing is it uses 19" rods instead of 15" like adapters usually use.

Huh? Red doesn't need an adapter, it has interchangeable lens and mounts.

I think he means that red uses 19mm rails instead of 15mm rails. Which it does. And how this relates to 35mm adapters is beyond me.

I wondered if I could use with my hv20 in order to upgrade later. The zacuto rig doesn't seem more affordable. There are part's I won't need though. Like the cradle.

I got to shoulder a red on saturday and their shouldermount was Very comfortable. The pad slides back and forth easily and the grips are nice and big and pretty adjustable.
Right now they arn't selling any parts without a red to make sure everyone ordering a red has a chance at these first.

I think everything is standart. They use 15mm rods as far as I know or am I mistaken?

Ahh I got it, he meant the accessories not the camera as part of the basic. My bad.

Their standard is 19mm but they have an adapter for 15mm for use with accessories.
