Zoom Controller with memory recall

I'm starting to think about designing a zoom controller that will permit you to pre-program zooms, saved to a small memory device to be recalled with the press of a button. The controller would operate via the remote jack, not a mechanical zoom contraption.

After it is working and I start building I can make some more for a modest price if anyone is interested.

Unless it turns out to be more involved than I think I hope to have a prototype in a month or so.

sounds gr8. I'm in a process of buying one but the idea of controlling zoom speeds is nice. I like that. I would definitely be interested if the price is right. :) Keep posted.

Thanks for the replies. Just starting design now. I'll keep you all posted.

Also plan to include a auto/manual switch so zoom can be controlled manually as well.
