If anyone has specific questions about the tutorial or Brevis setup/use in general, I'd be happy to address them on the air tonight during our live streaming audio Q&A.

Your video is a great and easy exlanation. Something they should put on the Cinevate website.

Great!

Would be nice to have some explanation about the "image element". So CF1, CF2 and CF3 differences and installation.

Thanks!

Very nice! Although you'll need to do some ADR work to get the pronunciation of "Brevis" right. ;) http://www.cinevate.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=826&highlight=pronunciation

Yeah, I started saying it the wrong way, and now I can't stop! I'm willfully ignorant on this issue. Hey, call in to our live show tonight and give me a English lesson Jason. :-)

Actually, I think it serves Dennis right for giving it such an unusual name.

in Bette Midler's voice...

Thanks, Matt!

The video tuturial was long overdue for the Brevis...and Matt was gracious enough allow us to host 2 of the series from the Cinevate site. That said, a very complete 8 part video series is scheduled for shooting this month from our end covering everything from rails configurations to cleaning imaging elements. With the flip module about to be released, a video series will be a welcome addition here.

Matt and Kendal set the bar for professionalism with this.

That will be of great help to all of us that are not yet familiar with the product.

...And also will help those undecided.

So i look forward to watch this!

...And also will help those undecided.

That's an interesting point that we have been trying to address at FreshDV...it's so hard to make a decision on adapters these days (in my opinion anyway) as many of them offer unique strengths and weaknesses. I believe it comes down to the individual's needs, or in some cases the special needs of a specific project.

That is really our main goal, to get useful information out on the nitty gritty details of these products, so that users can make truly informed decisions before picking a solution. Which is why I welcome the Brevis video tutorial series Dennis noted. It sounds like a great resource!
