I TRULY THINK THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR SOMEONE IN OR NEAR LOS ANGELES
I am looking for someone very talented and very GOOD with the DVX100B camera, lighting techniques, night for night shooting and of course 35 mm situations.
My full feature film DEUCE OF SPADES is going to get a HUGE amount of exposure once it is completed. There has not been a hotrod film made since 1972 (American Graffiti) and because I am, (not only a filmmaker but also) a hotrod girl myself and part of that community and know a LOT of key people, I was able to open all the closed doors and have access to a HUGE amount of EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE resources for FREE. (Ex: Rare cars, ready to use period sets, vintage wardrobe, celebrities, landing strips, period correct locations, world best swing dancers, best rockabilly music around etc etc). THE ENTIRE HOTROD COMMUNITY IS EAGERLY AWAITING THE FILM and it has been generating a huge amount of buzz.
Now, I am ready to start flming. Locations have been secured, actors auditioned, script finalized. Scene breakdown done, budget done, contracts done and film insurance lined up. I also bought my own gear.
I AM SEEKING A BRILLIANT DVX100 OWNER / USER that is local (Los Angeles area) that woud like to jump in on this great opportunity and help me with the technical, cinematographic and lighting aspect of the film. You will need to have a reel that will impress the heck out of me. And the more extra gear you can bring to the table the better. So let's join forces!
I suspect this film will be seen by millions of car enthousiasts worldwide. It already is getting a lot of exposure, press etc... And I have not even really officially started filming yet!
