Hi guys, I hope this is the right forum to post this in as I'm totally new to the site. I was referred here by a friend when I told him about my need for crew members. If I posted this in the wrong forum, I'd ask that it just be moved to the correct one since I really need to get this crew call out.
I'm an associate producer on a DC area documentary about corrupt government spending, and our two camera operators are in Texas and it's expensive to keep flying them into the state. The production company I'm working for is American Renaissance Films headed by Jim Hubbard.
We need people who can work around here and are flexible with their time. We're in the middle of production, but the shooting schedule has been something like one week in May then break for a few weeks, shoot one week in June, break for a few weeks, etc. So whenever we need you for a week, we'll let you know if you're working for us.
There will more than likely be some traveling, at least to the northern part of North Carolina for some shooting.
I just want to know if you're interested here since Jim will have to tell you more details about what camera we'd need, what the pay rate will be, and whatever else you may want to know. Production's expected to last until November.
AFR's website is at www.afrfilm.com, and you can email Jim at americanfilmfest@aol.com if you're interested. My name is Angelo, and I'll try to check messages on here, but you can email me at mmike10371@msn.com.
