Pretty Good...

The lighting was very flat. Was it 24p? What were your settings?

Reminded me a lot of a reality TV show...Not very cinematic. Could heavily use some color timing.

Yes the light WAS very flat :-) It was 1080 24 pA (1080 over 60i) The sharpness was -7 (i think now, it was to much, the picture is so to unsharp)

Well done, very well done.

Many thanks once for the praise.

But the movie now is more better.

I have all image manipulation. Only the adjusted liminaz-curve and 10% "Sharpnes" with CS3 (the originalfiles been rotated without artificial keen / sharpnes -7)

The result is an absolutely clear and dynamic image without too much color.

This almost seemed like a documentary to me. Shot pretty auto flat to just get the shot.

Hi ncje, Hi keenast!

First - thank you for criticism.

This was not my first shot general, but my first shot with AG-HPX500.

No camera steady..., no light... lousy... terrible... 10 year old kids to a 'beauty farm'... and so on... What should I say to your remarks?

I think, its a case of taste. I photographing (www.photodream.de (http://www.photodream.de)) for 20 years and I make movies for 5 years. I shoot 150.000 photos in my life and never i used flash ore some. Movies should live show - no artificially light.

The "CocoaKinderReporter" is a regional series. The kids are "KidsReporters" (www.cocoakinderreporter.de (http://www.cocoakinderreporter.de)).

And... that (www.pilipp.org (http://www.pilipp.org)) is my new one: But caution its a regional commercial!

PS.: You can now edit PS2 with Premiere CS3!!! Juhuu!!

Sorry cocoa. I didnt mean to come off holier than thou. I didnt mean that at all.

Natural is OK if you can get enough but still needs tweeking in the video world in my experience. But as I said it seemed a lot of auto used??

Hm, reminds me of the Dogma95 movement.
I guess you did the show all by yourself? Thatīs a lot of work!
I also like the idea of the reporter kids for local advertising.

The second spot was more cinematic, I even would have color corrected it more extreme (towards a blue tint).

BTW Do you own the HPX500 or do you rent it for your projects?

ncje, i saw your Tokyo-night-shot. very good dynamics in gamma. What is your scene-setting?

keenast (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/member.php?u=30648) i think you are the best of all :-) What have you been shot?
I would like to see some of your perfect plants. And sorry my English ist very bad. Perhaps we can continue to entertain in German. Then do you understand faster, what my bad questions are.

Sorry, but I think your art of criticism is not good. Thank you.

For the most part, lighting is unmotivated and there are color balance issues - like the orange lights at the spa. It is hard to determine the mood because of the lighting in the spa scenes. The beginning of the film at home didnt bother me - the flatter lighting is popular with some shows. There are some good compositions - mainly the CUs on the girls.

Thank you.

The working with 500 was for me absolut new. I previously worked with the Canon A1. The canon works with poor light much better. Also in the film are some shots not sharp.

My secound shortmovie with the 500 is much better - even without additional light.
