Can the Letus EX do this?

The Letus EX comes with a reversible precision-collimated Nikon/Canon mount. Ideally it should be always properly backfocused at all times and need no intervention from the user.
If you find that your collimation is off for some reason, you can adjust it by loosening the three screws that secure the mount and sliding the mount back and forth a tad.

Even my old model flip was ready to rock out the box. I honestly don't want to adjust anything myself.

What we found is that very few users had a vernier caliper and the precision required to not only adjust, but more importantly, keep the mount square once it was adjusted. That's the reason for the changes to our entire lens mount line including the PL and OCT19. The precision required to set a lens mount properly cannot be achieved by 98% of users without help from something like our collimation system. It's important to note that there are significant variations in lenses out there...even amongst lenses of the same type. Our system is designed so that users can achieve an accuracy better than .005 mm.
This is overkill for the hobbyist, but our professional users demand this level of accuracy, particularly with respect to PL and OCT19 mount cinema lenses...not supported by the Letus. These lenses are much, much more senstive to collimation issues as they're focussing accuracy is something in the order of 3X that of an SLR lens.

The new collimation is great...its like Collimation for Dummies. I had vernier caliper and still could'nt get it right. Now its perfect.

Barry,
When you talk about sliding the mount "in or out a tad" is there any potential "wobble" in that adjustment, meaning can the lens be left slightly askew to the plane of the screen?
This was the problem with the old Brevis adjustment prior to the new micro-collimation adjustment, and that was a major problem for me which was fixed with the new method.
The SGPro has 4 screws that will move the screen itself or the lens mt (I'm not sure) back or forward though you have to make sure that you turn all 4 the same amount or you will get off of being flat to the screen plane. This works pretty well, but you need to stay awake.
Cinebuddy - It's nice to say you don't want to adjust anything yourself, but you just cannot depend on that - I've had 4 adapters and 3 were backfocused wrong. Those are very bad odds.

Oh no doubt Lenny and that's why I have a Brevis, but before that the adjustment for me was unbearable as the the screws would sometimes tilt the mount when tightening. The new housing is butta.
