View Full Version : Mounting an IKAN LCD upside down??

just curious as to what you IKAN HD users are using to mount your LCD upside down - not big on the Noga arm unless there's a better clamp that I'm not using - would prefer to mount to rails - trying to keep cost of mounting solution under $300...
thoughts?

Does the Ikan use a 1/4" 20 threaded mount? If so a few Bogen parts will do the trick. Check post 14 or so of this thread. (http://cinevate.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=428&highlight=bogen+grip)

Have you considered a Zacuto Zamerican arm with their arm to rails adapter? You could use Noga arms. But from my personal experience with Zacuto and my rig, I feel their Zamerican arms are awesome! They come in large, medium, and small lengths. I'm assuming you have 15mm rails. So you would need the...

Cost around $350 + depending on arm choice Want to see some pictures of my setup? I use my Zamerican for everything from monitors to LED lights. I think it's a great setup and of course it accommodates the Brevis system beautifully.

I'd love to see different rig pictures - funny thing is now IKAN has a pic on their site with a Zacuto set up - looks like 3 pieces - much nicer (and I'm sure expensive) than the Noga - I'll do some more research...
In the meantime, I'd love to see what people are doing with this LCD
