Okay, so I just finished making a 35mm adapter (I'll post pictures & footage soon, but that is currently not the point) and I'm having a problem. Of course the image is recorded upside down, but when I try to flip it in post using my software (Adobe 6.0) , it looses a lot of image quality when I export it and look at it. Is there some great method of flipping that I am missing here, or what?
Aside from buying new and better software (which I can't afford -unless of course someone can donate a copy), what should I do? Please help oh great dvxuser.com community!
A little hard to pinpoint anything yet, so:
What is the software? Adobe Premire 6.0? Adobe AfterEffects 6.0?
What are your export settings?
When you playback in the software (before export) are you seeing this "loss of image quality"?

Adobe Premiere 6.0, the export settings are the same as I've always used. It's just that the flipping effect in that program grealy reduces the images quality. It makes it look very pixelated. I could upload a short clip of before and after if need be.
So you don't see this loss of quality until export?
What method are you using to flip the image in the software?
Did you try posting this question in the Premiere forum?

Check your field dominance setting...and try changing from upper to lower when you flip. This problem has been reported (never found a fix myself) with Premiere Pro 1.5 and does not seem to be an issue with Premiere Pro 2
