Hi all:
Need your recommendations on hiring a Steadicam Operator for single day shoot in LA.
1. Must be very skilled
2. Must own rig that can easily handle Panasonic Varicam loaded up with film-style setup (wireless video tap needed, wireless follow focus needed)
3. Must have Steadicam reel on-line so that director can approve of hire
4. Non-union job
5. Shoot is on Wednesday, October 17th in the Valley
No offense intended but need a real pro who does this for a living, no low end rigs. This will be a short day for the operator but he/she must be able to nail these carefully blocked shots through a four sided set in a timely manner.
