well eventually I'd like to save up and buy an HVX200, I'm quite far from that as of now. but i would need a fisheye. i don't want to go with the schneider / century optics xtreme fisheye because it costs $3000, way more than i'm willing to spend for something that's at quite a high risk of getting a skateboard shot out at the thing, rendering it useless. so i came across the fisheye by 16x9, it looked good because it was cheaper and had a good amount of width and barrel distortion, but i'm wondering if the quality of it is good enough, or would it simply ruin the crisp image from an HVX.
Thanks in advance.

I've got it too, its sick for sure, especially considering you can buy 4 of them for the price of the century xtreme... There's a few shots in this video with it: http://nerve-technologies.com/stonebrokefilms/videoplayer.php?title=Keaton%20Wakeskate%20Demo&clip=keaton_wakeskate_1Mbps_Stream.mov
Oh and as for the quality, I have heard the owner of 16x9 worked for century for a long time as VP or something like that, so they are supposed to be just as good of optics... All I know is mine is awesome.

nice, quality seems pretty good. I've seen HVX + xtreme fisheye footage and there's a ton of chromatic aberration. this looks like quite a good alternative.

I really like this lense. I am wondering if anybody is interested in getting rid of theirs?
