Does anyone have any 1080 24PA footage from shot prior to the firmware update that they can look for top edge artifacting.

Regarding my other thread, (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=110936) all footage shot in this mode seems to create interlaced artifacts on every BB frame on footage from at least five different cameras we have tested. I am wondering if this has anything to do with the firmware update, or has it always been this way.

If anyone can produce footage without this artifacting I'd like to know. QT viewer seems to crop the edges, but it is clearly visible in either P2CMS or FCP.

I just checked the 1080/23PA output of my V4.06 camera and don't see any such artifacts. I checked in P2 Viewer (PC) and Edius.

Did you remove the pulldown?

Yes. Since it is on the BB frame it shows up either way.
