fcp to ae

just got ae last week .......what is the easiest way to go ae and back to fcp or do you guys edited everthing go to ae



is this the right way: export out of fcp as quicktime movie, open ae, import it and do whatever you want, add Quec render and import back to fcp

let me know if there is a better way of doing this

Well it depends- if you want to bounce an entire timeline back and forth you need Automatic Duck. Otherwise you just send Animation or ProRes clips- depending on whether you need the alpha channel intact.
