Hi,
I am currently putting together a doco which I shot in 25p on a DVX100AE and wanted to double check my FCP workflow to make sure I've got it right. I've searched various forums and found stacks on 24p (the NTSC version of the camera) but very little on 25p (the PAL version). So I want to make sure I've got all my FCP settings right so I get all the advantages of shooting progressive (and also so I don't find any nasty technical problems down the track! :) ).
I have changed the field dominance in both the capture and seqeunce settings to 'none'. Also under 'advanced' under compression I have selected 'progressive' as opposed to interlace. This seems to be working well, but I'm not 100% how to test it to make sure it is working.
Also if anyone is able to help out... once I am complete, what is the best way to export the video once I'm complete to keep it all nice and 25p (especially for DVD through DVD Studio Pro)?
Thanks heaps!!
