This is a dialogue sequence from a larger screen play that I'm working on.
I needed to shoot an assignment for a film class I'm taking so I shot this.
We had to cut the shoot short due to an accident on set (one of the extras almost got his eye poked out with an umbrella)
Enjoy.

Excellent job. Nice look... Thanks for sharing?
What lens did you use?
Was that Cine mode?
I was looking at you site, I noticed that your Brevis has what appears two Achromats. Why?

I am only using one achromat, the other is a 20mm spacer ring.
I was using a minolta wide zoom 28-70mm (old lens)
i was shooting in cine mode it seems to give you the cleanest image to work with.

Why do you need the spacer ring?
I thought Dennis said the achromat was enough on the HV20!

The achromat alone is all we use, but if you have a very slow lens (or are attempting to use CF1L on the HV20) the spacer gives extra zoom-in room. J, are you using CF1 or CF1L in there?

Honestly I don't remember why I bought the spacer ring. I just took it off and I think it's easier to setup my back focus now.
Thanks for noticing.

I'm not too sure, I bought the HD bundle just when it was still just under $1000 and before you put in the variable motor. Is it marked somewhere on the projection surface?

Ah, then it's CF1, and you don't need that spacer...but you already figured that out :-)

What was the on set accident?
I hope none of those were supposed to be Irish accents!
Footage looked nice though, considering it's an HV20. Although having said that there's a lot of good-looking HV20 stuff about....
