Urgent Audio question

I imported an mp3 into FCP 6 and when I play it in the viewer window it sounds fine, but when I put it in the timeline and render it, it skips really quick in the beginng when I play it back? Has anyone had this problem? I need to finish this video in a few days so any immediate help would be so appreciated:)

I fixed it... I have no clue why it was skipping. I tried a bunch of other files and there was no problem...only with this one audio track...so I burned it to a cd and reimported it and it was fine...
