FCP and 24p footage URGENT

So from my last post I changed my settings to 24p 2:3:3:2 Pulldown removal. However, it still makes me render all my footage once I drag it into the timeline. This si really frsutrating. Do you guys know any FREE sites that will help me with getting ym DVX100b set up seamlessly with FCP. I dont want to be held back by rendering raw footage.

Also, recently when I save my project I'll reopen it and all the raw footage I imported is no longer in the footage area of the screen. I'm pretty sure I saved, but any advice?

That article is awesome. So when importing 24p, I choose "advanced pulldown" so I can edit in a 24p timeline and not have to worry about removing the extra duplicate fields?

Got it. Thanks. I found another one of your posts in another forum and it helped me sort out reasons for 24p vs 24pa.
