Hi There,
I'm looking for a seasoned camera op. who has done a lot of corporate/industrial/commercial work AND owns and is very familiar with the DVX100b. I'll be flying into NY on Oct. 23rd with my camera/lighting/sound package, and will need you to work with me as a 2nd camera at a marketing focus group shoot. One of us will be the Wide shot, one of us will be the CU, and follow the action.
I'm really looking for a pro camera op. here, please no hobbyists or indy film guys (no offense, I just need a someone who is very client-oriented on this job). I need someone who is a true freelance camera person that does this kind of thing for a living every day. Pay is industry standard for your labor, and the rental of your DVX (plus your tripod). You will not HAVE to bring any sound or lighting gear, but I may be interested in throwing some additonal budget dollars your way if you have an Arri kit with a couple of 650 fresnels (I'll be traveling alone and REALLY don't want to lug my Arri kit along if we can use yours locally).
Shoot will be 2-camera, 60i, 4:3, TOD Time-code, 4-channel mixer feeding both cameras the same 2-channel line-level signal. The event will consist of 3 to 4 2-hour focus group sessions (all in the same day) at a hotel or conference center. One main speaker facilitating the audience. Audience will answer questions--- this will be picked up by pre-placed shotgun, PZM, or boundary mics (which I will bring along). There will be OT after 10 hours, and I'm expecting 1-1.5 hours of OT on this day.
I don't know the EXACT location yet, but it is supposed to be in New York City or nearby surroundings. Professional appearance, great work ethic, and promptness are a must. You know who you are!!!!!
PM me.
