Hey guys, I know there's the Pappas thread about this same subject however, I haven't seen anything posted up yet so I thought I'd give you guys my own example of 2.35:1 filming with the HV20.
I'm using the Panasonic Anamorphic adapter, it's actually a lot lighter than I had expected when mounted on the camera.

I had a project coming up and because I couldn't afford a 35mm adapter to raise production value and whatnot so I decided to try out filming with a 2.35:1 aspect ratio instead.
This is just a test and it is admittedly a touch out of focus but it was just me on the mountaintop there.
By the way, both of these grabs were exported as 1920x1080 BMP's. I did do a test and the 1440x1080 grabs didn't look quite as impressive, still nice though.
