Hello there
a client restarted her mac pro and when she came back into fcp and treid to open her current sequence, she got the error message,
"general error 48", then "not enough space"......
what ive done so far (mostly with reboots in between):
- checked the HD and 2 external gtech drives, all have at least 80G free space
- trashed the prefferences
- wiped the p-ram
- ran applejack
- copied sequences into new project, renamed
- copied project, renamed
- tried opening from autosaves
- consolidated sequences to HD, both with copying media, and linking to original
- copied project onto another mac
and allways the same errors!
she is editing on a mac pro, FCP studio 2 using 2 external media drives and 1 external sound FX drive. 200 odd G, 2 (possibly 3) G or RAM. using AJAKona BOB......
not too sure what else to trie - re-setting the RAM and HD........dont think re-setting the AJA card will help out....
any clues?
weve been at a standstill for over an hour now - aaaah!
thanks alot,
Robbie
