View Full Version : What's the next generation youtube?

I want to upload my video for people to see but 100mb is too small for an 8 minute piece I feel (to keep the quality of the video). So what's the next big video place where we can upload our videos that

a) allows a bigger MB capactiy

b) is simple (none of this having to sign up for a user account or download the video onto your desktop first -- you just go to the site and it loads)

c) works (this is important as there's nothing more annoying than a video hosting site that only works on some computers -- the reason youtube became so successful is because it worked on every single computer).

So, any new cool video hosting sites out there?

Well, it doesn't really meet your requirements but http://www.stage6.com (http://www.stage6.com/) (divx) is a really good site. The quality on there is amazing, and the file size limit is 2 gb

That's one hell of a great site.

Go to the Top Rated Videos section and check out the "Low pass turn TAP Airbus A310". That is INSANE.

I could never get stage6 to work for my videos. I kept trying to upload but it kept failing and not telling me why.

Did you use the DIVX converter first? You have to have the file transcoded to their format first.

Nevermind...The "DivX Converter" itself is idiot-proof...the hell with Dr divx
