Well any who are around this site alot probablly have seen me in the footage section showing what we do from time to time but today I come with a request. We are currently editing a documentary and trying to keep it somewhat.. edgy or outside the box in our edit. As a result the guys I am cutting for are trying to do alot of fun transitions.

They have a descent collection but they want more so I am coming here for suggestions. You know the stuff that isn't necessarilly right for Narative films but great for TV programs ect. Not cheesy, but.. cool. Fil flutter effects (like the pulse and color you get on an 8mm cam when it starts/stops) cool transitions, color correction plug ins (have magic bullet of couse but you never know what cool stuff you might find) Stuff like that... hit me with your best finds over the years and where I might get ahold of it.. and tyhank you in advance!

I don't know if you've got the funds (I don't at the moment) but GenArts' Sapphire Plug-ins kick butt.

They ain't cheap but the 3-week trial is fully functional. Depending on your schedule, you might be able to work with them.

Oh man I had seen that before but completly forgot about them.. Yeah I think we will have to pick that up, if not for this project then for others. Great suggestion thanks!

Anyone else?
