i was able to see Top Secret on TV maybe 7 years ago... i dont remember much of it.

You should see it! I thought Airplane, the Police Squad (TV series-6 episodes) and Top Secret were the best from that team...my friends and I had those memorized in addition to Holy Grail/Buckaroo Banzai/Night Shift....Personally I think that everything made after Top Secret was just the same old thing...

I watched this in a German class I took a few years ago. Good laugh for sure.

Airplane! was a classic. Great wit and satire. Everything after was schlock. and don't call me Shirley.

I believe this was the movie that eventually got Val Kilmer the part as Jim Morrison in The Doors (no joke). There's a scene where he plays Morrison which is quite eerie

the movie btw is not very good. we saw it in school when I was... 12? and I thought it was hillarious. that says a lot. it's not as refined as Airplane, just a lot of really dumb jokes and low budget stuff.

but hey, knock yourself out bro!

It's a good little film...you'll enjoy it.

It was also Val Kilmer's first movie role, and he did a pretty good job.
