I feel very dissapointed in myself having difficulty with iMove HD.... BUT....

So I was capturing a bunch of HDV skate footage when iMovie shuts down for no apparent reason, and it says sorry do you want to reopen, so I say yes I would.

Then it says would you like to veiw your trash can, so I say might as well and click it, and then ALL MY CLIPS THAT I HAVE CAPTURED ARE IN THERE, and theres no way to get them out... my only options are to either Empty the whole trash or delete one clip.

PLEASE HELP ME.

PS. I'm only using iMovie becuase Final Cut Studio II is still in the mail.

Hint: How about upgrading from iMovie. I mean, c'mon, you're a DVXUser!

is there a trial version of FCP you can download in the meantime?

i'm new to mac, just got a macbook, but i'm assuming that apple allows for a trial version, right?

sorry if i'm reviving a dead post, but i came across this and wanted to let you know that the cheapest way to get final cut is to buy Final Cut Express HD. it's about 300 or so.
