Help! Either way, about half my tapes have to be converted, so might as well choose the best timeline now. Have 24p and 24pA tapes, and also 60i, mostly to use for slo-mo. Want to preserve for film-out, so I'm thinking 24 timeline and convert the 24p to 24A with Nattress and/or Cinema Tools. Is the 24p going to take a hit that way? I'd like to do the 24 cut because I can keep the original 24pA frames, and also make the highest quality DVD for advance showings.
I've captured the 24p and 60i tapes already, standard NTSC. Have to decide on the timeline before capturing the 24pA so I know whether to bring it in with or without pulldown. Thanks for any help!:undecided
