Mad Max director George Miller is tackling a Justice League movie for Warner Bros, and they are recasting Batman and Superman. I'd love to see Jon Hamm from Mad Men play Batman. He could even pull off an older Superman.

Read they are considering Ryan Gosling for Batman. I think he's too young. I'd rather they go older and cast real men in these roles. One of my problems with the new Superman is that Brandon Routh looked more like SuperBoy.

The dude is only like 35...he just looks 42.

Was looking forward to new episode last night, but was a rerun.

Yeah, I honestly think he's fudged his age a little. The clothes and hair make him seem a little older, too.

Having more than one screen Superman and Batman will be a bit confusing, I'd think.

I thought so, too...then I saw him on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He looked much younger. I can't believe the guy who plays Roger Sterling is only in his mid-forties. That dude looks 50+.

Nah, I don't think so. These movies can exist in a parallel world, or in the future, which is why I'd cast slightly older actors. They were thinking at one point of doing it mo-cap Beowulf style, which would circumvent the issue. I really dug the cut scenes in Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the Xbox 360--

The entire Batman camp is worried. They want Justice League to wait until they are done with their movies, most vocal are Nolan and Bale. If nothing else, they want it animated. But that has already been done over many times, and again with the New Frontiers DTV animation coming out.

I like the idea, but when you really think about, why would someone as indestructible as Superman age? His skin is impervious to bullets but not antioxidants?

Well he aged from a child to an adult....

That's not aging, that's maturing. You don't keep growing until you die, your growth stops once you reach adulthood.

He still ages it just seems like he ages slower, but that is only because he's been around since the 30's or 40's.
