Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47? I'm not expecting much outta him (he was horrible as a bad guy in Die Hard 4) but, the movie does look awesome.

I'll see it when it comes out. Looks like a great action movie. Hopefully Olyphant proves me wrong with this movie.

Wow, crazy. I thought he did a great job as the bad guy in Die Hard 4. I was very impressed with him.

Interesting how subjective the art of film can be. The trailer for Hitman looks fantastic by the way, I'm definitely looking forward to it

Hans Gruber was a bad guy. The Colonel from Die Hard 2 was a bad guy. Simon Gruber, sort of. The problem with Olyphant (or anyone who was in that role) was that he hid behind the computers. He wasn't bad ass like Hans Gruber and the Colonel froM DH2

47 shouldn't be talking so much. and is that a love interest?

boo. straight boo.

The guy looks to young to play Agent 47.

Yep, he really looks to young. They should have chosen Jason Statham.

Oh great, a videogame movie by the writer of Swordfish and an unknown French director.

This will be a masterpiece .

Well all I can say is... I'm glad Vin Diesel isn't 47. Didn't they say he would play it a while back? He probably asked for too much money... again.

This guy looks a lot better. I played blood money and am a big fan of it. Some shots look straight out of the game, but I'm not looking forward to the storyline. Aperantely it's about falling for some girl or something...

Clearly you have not seen the awesomeness of Olyphant as Seth Bullock in Deadwood.

Trailer looks a lot better than the teaser. Olyphant might pull it off despite the young face.

I'd only watch this becasue of Timothy O

He rules in Deadwood.

And whoever that director is, he's definitely got the John Woo homage down.

Another Video Game translation... gone sour.

About the only game I can think of that might actually manage to make the transition to the bigscreen would be the woefully forgotten "Monkey Island" series.

I could see a solid cartoon movie made off of that.

Otherwise, videogame movies are inherently flawed, and, by very design, cannot work.

At first glance I thought it was based on the comic; I forgot there was a hitman video game.

Looks interesting enough though.

Timothy Olyphant is the best part of deadwood (other than Al Swearengen, of course)

...But did you guys forget how badass he was in Girl Next Door? ...The scene where he storms into the classroom? The look on his face right before he comes into the room was enough to make anyone crap themselves.

Just saw it. It is actually really really good. It combines some of the better elements of The Killer, The Professional, Bourne Supremacy and 007. It is not quite as good as any of those movies, but the visuals and editing are top-notch. The action scenes really are nicely cut, with a combination of super-slo-mo and speed-ramping a la '300' and high shutter speed hand-held like in Bourne Supremacy. It's great, escapist, unpretentious fun.

i thought the sex was gratuitous. i mean one second she is scared to death and trying to run away from him and the next second she is naked in his bed. come on. i felt as if it ended without ever bringing up or answering anything. i was severally disapointed with this film. maybe i will give it another chance

For a movie called Hitman, there were barely any 'hits' but loses of 'misses'. (HAHA... sigh)

It was like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, without any 'Good' or 'Ugly'.

It was like Ghostbusters, without any busting.

It really could have been renamed Man.

I was waiting for somebody to make a comment on my post so I could reply with something similar.

Luckily, I didn't have to pay for the movie.
