Stacking Lenses

I have a PA AG-DVC62, now the lens is supposedly not removable. However, removing the barn doors, reveals a bayonet mounting.

So my question is, would this lens fit my camera, and if it did, would it enhance my cameras zoom capabilities, and give me an overall better picture? Even with the original lens still in place.

That's a lens designed for 1/2" CCD removable-lens cameras, like the JVC GY-DV500. It will not even come close to fitting your camera.

No. It's designed for 1/2" removable-lens cameras. Not 1/3" integrated-lens camcorders. You can use conversion lenses with filter thread mounts, not full bayonet mount lenses.
