Just saw it... really enjoyed the film. A lot of good moments. Had the drama, romance, action, and lighthearted stuff all the same. Fun movie. Enjoyed it

Yeah, it was a solid little film. It's one of those overlooked type of movies...and way better than Mr. Baseball.
I wonder if it made up for him passing on the part of Indiana Jones in Raiders Of The Lost Ark.

I thought it was great fun, and very under-rated.
Selleck was tapped for Indiana Jones? Wow. I'd like to visit the alternate reality, where Tom S. is Indy...

I enjoyed it as well
I always wondered it would be like with Magnum PI as Indy

...and don't forget, Danny DeVito was originally gonna be Sallah!:undecided
Damn. I always thought the gods of fate chimed in on these ones......It would not have been a micro-fraction of the near-perfect classic that it is without Harrison!

I thought it was common knowledge.
The story goes something like Selleck was offered Magnum P.I. and Raiders around the same time, and they would make for a conflict in schedules. Selleck made his choice.
In the end, the shooting of one project or the other got delayed a bit, and a good chunk of the locations for Raiders were shot near where Magnum was being made (if I recall correctly), so in the end, it turns out he could actually have done both.
...or something like that.
He did okay for himself with Magnum P.I. It's not like he passed in order to do Joanie Loves Chachi.

I just like Tom Selleck. Always have.
Funny; saw him here on the lot, a week or two ago.

I know most will not care but my uncle is the spitting image of Tom Selleck. We use to call him Magnum P.I. way back when.
