Vegas Cannot Find My VST's

Guys, I;m running Vegas 7 on XP. I just reinstalled everything (including XP) yesterday and now I cannot get Vegas to see the folder my VST plugs are in. I point Vegas to it, and it scans it and I can see the file names flash by real fast, but the 'VST Plugins to Use' chart is still empty.

Any suggestions?
