after 2 years i sold my DVX and bought the canon xh a1
but here comes the dumb question I am using FCP and i shoot some footage in HD and i find it way to hard to compress for the web... also I shot some stuff in standard dv 16x9 mode, but once i log it into FCP it looks 4x3 ???? anyone

I've never worked with hdv in FCP but it sounds like you need to adjust your sequence settings to match what you've imported.

Make sure your comp settings are set to 16x9, well thats the most obvious suggestion first and um... do you have FCP HD?
