they are pretty cheap.. I assume you dont need the clapper part and you can get plates for $20..

well, when I looked online for them I could only find electronic ones... if you have a link to where I can buy a regular one I would appreciate(nasty corporate word) it

I iz gotz me a clapper from dat playce. Now to figure out why I need it with video. I guess its because Rob Travist used it on one project that we did together and I thought it was cool to have your name on it.

i got a really nice simple one from filmtools that is meant for video.
doesn't have the clap thing but the imprinted verbage was specific to video. tape instead of roll etc.
forget exactly how much it was but it was really cheap.

I'm oldschool, I just use my fingers. Once we get to the 11th take then I'm in trouble. ;D
