Firmware V 4.05 must update to 4.06 ??

Hello !
just got mine new HVX in the hands
I have no P2cards because mine empty pocket but soon I will get the 16gb P2 card
It has the firmware V4.05 and I was reading some users here are get problems like not working P2 cards.

I was asking my self do I need update mine HVX firmware to V 4.06 ??

Allthrough there is a little letter put in the box with the hvx that say's :
"This device handles 16GB P2 cards. Software updates are not necessary for immediate use of 16GB cards"

You don't need V4.06 to use 16GB P2 card, V4.05 is all that's required.

And i'm getting scare so ask the same question to Panasonic product support.
This is the answer :

Thank you for your inquiry of our products.

It is compatible from Ver4.05 with P2Card of 16GB.
HVX200 will work by Ver4.05 without trouble.
However, we will recommend as latest Ver4.06 as possible.

I haven't upgraded yet either, but a panny guy told me that other menu features are also upgraded or added with the updates, so you might want to check that out.

The only documented change between V4.05 and V4.06 pertains to the file creation date of folders on the P2 card -- I'm guessing for some international date formats, the year/month/day weren't handled correctly.
