i have enough money to get one of these setups. i'd be using the camera to make short films that would hopefully play at festivals. i wouldn't be doing event work, etc.
1 - i currently have a dvx and was going to buy a 35mm adapter, probably an sgpro. then when the next round of hdv/avchd cameras come out, i can upgrade.
2 - but then i thought about selling the dvx and getting an hv20 with the adapter. i lose manual features but get an hd image. hmm.
3 - or i could sell the dvx and get an xha1. i'd get a nice hd image w/ great manual features, but i wouldn't be able to afford an adapter so i would lose that cinematic look with the nice depth of field.
decisions, decisions. any suggestions?
