I like listening to certain music to inspire me... and I just got music from "The Shining", "Halloween" and "Suspiria" and let me tell you, the creepiest stuff is Suspiria! Whoa!! Makes me scared listening to it. LOL. I want to see that movie!

I have a ton of Scores in my MP# collection; mostly seems to be horror or thriller related

But this is a frequent stop of mine; especially when writing

Nice link dude, thanks... I am working on a shot list right now, and wanted some creepy music to inspire visions in my head.

Goblin does some great work, especially when teamed up with Dario Argento. Deep Red is another great flick they worked on.

Deep Red & Suspiria are definitely my favourites from Goblin. These guys recently got back together to record a new album. Cool stuff.

anyone check out 28 Weeks Later John Murphy soundtrack? it's very good.

and while im at it, the movie was good too. love the handheld work.

I thought eh, shot in film, wont have the same feel as an XL-1.
but you know what, it did. and it was better.

http://streamingsoundtracks.com/ is another great site for music inspiration and it has tons of soundtracks to choose from. I'm a frequent listener and have discovered many great scores previously unknown to me.
