After a while of playing and tweaking last night, I think I have found the correct ISO for this camera using the exposure card from Adobe on location and light meter.

With the camera set up for 720p/24 - 180 degree shutter and the scene file below these are the ISO numbers I have come up with.

ND 1 - ISO-800
ND 2 - ISO-200
ND 3 - ISO-50
ND 4 - ISO-12

ND 1 w/6db gain - ISO-1600
ND 1 w/12db gain - ISO-3200

Note - the these ISO number are calibrated to the iris ring on the lens of the Fujinon 17x lens.

Did the same setup on a DVX100 and HVX200 last night and came up with this.

DVX ISO = ~1000-1200

HVX ISO = ~250-320

Can get any precision since both have a servo iris.

On the DVX100 and HVX200 the Master Ped setting is variable from -15 to +15 and 11 would be a very low setting. The HPX500 is a bit more adjustable on the Master Pedestal setting with a range of -100 to +100.

That explains it! thanks.

Can you post a 1080 grab like this? or any 1080 grabs in the png format?

Thanks again!

I dont think the DVX is that fast... Maybe in Interlace mode?

Hvx sounds about spot on.
