Ok. Last Stand sucked. The only reason I still watch it is, it's still an X-Men movie. X-Men 4 will probably be done after the Wolverine movie, and either before or after the Magneto movie is done.

I was so disappointed by X-Men The Last Stand, that I want to write another X-Men movie, a remake of X-Men The Last Stand, doing it the way it shoulda been handled (like Bryan Singer had planned, had he not jumped ship, for Superman). Give the Phoenix story what it deserves. An epic movie. Something around 3 hrs long, and do it properly.

I'm gonna have Gambit in it, predominantley as well, keep Beast in, and show the Phoenix like she should be, ruthless, and unrelenting.

I know, I know. It's a crazy idea to do, but that's how disappointed I was with Brett Ratner and the writers of The Last Stand.

The only ones that weren't disappointed with it, were the actors, They were just happy they got paid, and sucking up for another sequel.

It was still better than spider man 3

Haven't seen it yet. Usually we take the boys during the opening week, but not this time.

At least Spider-Man got to live, that alone makes it better then X3.

It would be a short movie if he were to die. Really ruin the chance for a sequel too...

After wasting 4+ hours of my life on Spiderman 1 & 2, the only thing that would get me to 3 would be a short movie where he died. But anyway...

I'm sure you probably already realize this, Z-Farms, but any good X3 script would have to actually include Phoenix. And by Phoenix I of course mean the full-on "Firebird" power manifestation from the comics (and, for that matter, from X2) rather than the incredibly lame Famke-Jannsen-with-a-skin-condition crap that Rattner gave us.

Why waste your time?...No one will touch your script with a ten foot pole for legal reasons...Create something new. Lucas wrote the first Star Wars because he couldn't get the rights to Flash Gordon. Writing an original script is always the best thing to do, as you own it completely.

I think writing a script like this is more therapeutic then anything. I did the same that after watching Catwoman, which has now become a 1,400 page script and I’m still working on it. It has Batman, Superman, Joker, Eskimo ninjas, space pirates, and a dimensional portal that transports everyone into the Marvel universe. Ever wanted to see Catwoman take on the Hulk? Ever wonder what would happen to Catwoman if bitten by a radioactive dog? Well, it all happens in my script!

without me going back to quote somebody...the complaint was about the writers...hmmm...zak penn was the writer for X2. i know you don't care cuz you hated the movie, but let's not get carried away and start blaming the grips, best boys, gaffer, cable puller, or craft services.
