Need help with title

Ok I want to use a writing effect like in this video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9e5QKQw13hs ) for a title has anybody done this in vegas? And if so how. If there is a plug-in I would realy like to know about it. Thanks

You can download a freeware font that looks like it, and then create the title in photoshop or Gimp with a transparent background in PNG format. Then, load it into Vegas and do the effects you want with it. For example, the effect that has the text appearing little by little, you can crop the image frame by frame and after about 30 frames you can let it show the full text.

I'd done something similar by making a png and then animating a mask to reveal the motion of writing frame by frame.

LIke mark says. You make a title in Photoshop and save as a png (to maintain transparency around the text). Then use that png within vegas and go into pan and crop to create a bezier mask. Now make the mask into a flexible loop and animate it to reveal the title as if t were writing on.
