You can check out the latest music video clip that I directed, shot (with HVX) and edited for Blown, a swiss hardcore/metal band.
Shot in 2 days with HVX in 720pn50 or 720pn25, 2x8gb P2, some light and just 1200$.
It was so much fun to shoot and the straightedge crew was moshing the place up!

what the??? Good lighting and cam work.....and uhhh I'll keep my opinion to myself as far as the music(: I don't quite get the ninja mosh pit....is that what it's like these days.HAAH

Ditto... Nice visuals.. good work on that but god that's some terrible music. being a terrible bass player myself I can cleraly say that is something quite derivitive... Old matallica and some growling... wow

I liked it and the clean crisp footage is great for this type of video. Very reminiscent of a Hatebreed Video.

Hey TheComo it's just rock'n roll... with a little tension like hiphop and rock but it's sooo much fun to listen, dance, sing and scream to! But anyway this forum is about video not music...
Thanx D.L. if this video looks like a Hatebreed video I'm more than happy as they are one of the biggest hardcore band!

this looked good. did most of the budget go on lighting? that guy sounds like his throat hurts after singing that song.

Yes most of the budget went on lighting and the rest on the rent of the camera and P2's. After this shoot I loved soooo much the HVX that I decided to buy one ;-)!!

looks real good sir -- gave me some danny boyle goosebumps 28 days style at the beginning, with those hustling shadows on the wall.

The setting were B.press preset with a shutter speed of 120.

was the blur effect done in camera? If not, how did you do it in post?

It was done with FCP and I put on one track the clean shot and on top of it I put the same shot with some blur and a square mask with feather borders.

Excellent work. The lighting and editing were top notch and fit near perfectly to the pace of the music. Perfect example of how to use that HVX.
