I was reading the JVC website, and I found out something new. (I rarely check up on JVC)

They have a PL mount adapter for some of their HD models.

This is great! I was wondering if anyone has made a nikon one. I would figure since the 35mm adapter guys have both, so can JVC.

But one question still remains, this method can't possible decrease depth of field.... can it?

I thought the intermediate ground-glass was the projection screen on which the 35mm adapters were able to get the depth of field shallow.

Wouldn't JVC PL mount lenses shooting to the ccd's be negating the process?

ps I know pl mount does not mean prime lens, but they can be both.

It's probably similar to the Canon XL adapter for prime lenses. The small chip size will cause the lense to become super-telephoto.
